8th International Conference on Language, Education, Humanities, and Innovation 2017


The 8th International Conference on Language, Education, Humanities and Innovation (ICLEHI) 2017 is a multi-disciplinary forum that will bring together leading scholars, researchers and practitioners from around the world to present and discuss new advancements and findings in the fields of covered by the conference themes. With the slogan “Empowering Research in the Arts and Humanities“, the 8th ICLEHI organizing committee invites everyone to participate and contribute research articles or academic papers to be presented in the event.
Abstracts:
All abstracts must be submitted using the ICLEHI online submission system. Please click on the ‘REGISTER NOW‘ button on the right to access the system.
Presenters are advised to adhere to the following submission guidelines when preparing their abstract:
1. The title of the paper must not exceed 15 words
2. All abstracts must be written in English.
3. The body of the abstract must contain the following information:
  • objective/purpose/rationale of the study
  • research design/methodology
  • overview of findings/trends (expected or preliminary results if the research is still in progress)
  • any conclusion/interpretations/discussions that could be drawn out from the result of the study
4. To maintain impartiality and avoid any bias, authors are encouraged to not use honorifics, rank titles such as Dr and Professor when referring to themselves in the document.
5. The abstract text must not be longer than 300 words.
6. The complete abstract must be uploaded in Microsoft Word format via the online system. The same text must also be keyed in the fields provided in the online submission form.
7. Abstracts should relate to at least one of the key strands of the conference:
  • Language
  • Education
  • Humanities
  • Innovation

Full Papers:
Full papers must be uploaded in MS Word format via the event’s web-based system. Click HERE to access the system.
Presenters are advised to download the conference’s official template to ensure that their papers meet the event’s formatting requirements.
Papers must not be more than 15 pages long. This is inclusive of all text, tables, figures, and any appendices. A fee of USD35 per page will be imposed for each additional page beyond this limit. A separate invoice will be issued to the author if this limit has been exceeded.
The author will be notified via email if his/her paper has been accepted. Acceptance notifications will normally come with suggestions and remarks from the paper’s reviewer.
Presenters may opt to NOT publish their papers in the conference proceedings. If this is the case, please inform the conference secretariat of your intentions as early as possible to prevent any issues after the official publication of the proceedings.

Presentation Formats:
  • Oral Presentations
Each presenter shall be given 15-20 minutes for presentation. An additional 5-10 minutes will be added for Q&A which will be moderated by the session chair.
For the benefit of the audience, the presentation should at least cover the following areas:
  1. The objective/purpose/rationale of the study
  2. Background/overview of the topic
  3. Theoretical framework
  4. Research design and methodology
  5. Overview of findings and results
  6. Conclusion/Discussion
Please be prepared with enough material to fill the time allocated to you.
All presentations must be done in English.

  • Posters
Posters shall be displayed at a specific location and time throughout the conference.
The recommended poster size is A0 (841mm tall x 1189 mm wide) Please notify the secretariat as early as possible if you are planning to use a different size to avoid any difficulties on the conference day.
Depending on the situation, poster presenters may also be required to explain and answer questions regarding their posters in the presentation hall.

Abstracts shall be passed on to reviewers as soon as they arrive into the system. Authors may receive review results between as early as 48 hours upon initial submission to 2 November 2017. Please ensure that you had entered a working email address during registration and check your spam folder in case our mail was routed there.
Publication:
Full papers presented at 8th ICLEHI 2017 will be published in the conference proceedings and shall be distributed to participants during the event. The volume will come with ISBN and will also be available online on the ICSAI.org proceedings archive.
Selected authors will be offered an opportunity to be published in the International Journal of Language, Literature, Culture and Education (ISSN 2462-1846) by ICSAI.org. Selection of articles will be based a number of factors including, among other things, quality of research, originality, and style. Selected papers may be required to undergo further review and editing before actual publication.

Seminar Nasional Teknologi Informasi dan Multimedia (SemnasTeknomedia) 2018


Universitas AMIKOM Yogyakarta dalam rangka meningkatkan minat publikasi ilmiah di kalangan akademisi maupun praktisi di bidang teknologi informasi dan multimedia, menyelenggarakan Seminar Nasional Teknologi Informasi dan Multimedia (SemnasTeknomedia) 2018 pada tanggal 10 Februari 2018 di Universitas AMIKOM Yogyakarta.

Dengan mengusung tema “Meningkatkan Daya Saing Bangsa Melalui Industri Kreatif Digital”, SemnasTeknomedia diharapkan mampu menjadi wadah bagi berkumppulnya hasil kajian, penelitian dan penerapan di bidang teknologi informasi dan multimedia. Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang demikian pesat menjadikan kuantitas data semakin meningkat dengan cepat. Penerapan multimedia untuk menyajikan data yang demikian besar menjadi sebuah tantangan tersendiri. Besarnya data yang harus dikelola juga membuka peluang penelitian di bidang teknologi informasi seperti Database Management, Data Mining, Decision Support System, Pattern Recognition, Software Engineering, dan lain-lain. Selain itu peluang bisnis berkaitan dengan peningkatan data ini juga terbuka luas.

New Full Paper/Poster/Abstract Submissions Deadline: Nov. 20, 2017

The idea of 12th International Conference on Recent Trends in Engineering and Technology (RTET-2018) scheduled on Jan. 10-11, 2018 at Bali (Indonesia) is for the researchers, scientists, scholars, engineers and parctitioners from all around the world to present and share ongoing research activities. This conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration.

RTET-2018 is sponsored by Dignified Researchers Publication (DiRPUB).

All full paper submissions will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. One Best Presentation Award from each session will also be distributed at the time of the conference

All accepted papers of RTET-2018 will be published in the printed conference proceedings with valid International ISBN number. Each Paper will be assigned unique Digital Object Identifier(DOI) from CROSSREF and the Proceedings of the Conference will be archived in DiRPUB's Engineering & Technology Digital Library. The papers can be submitted to Emerging Sources Citation Index [THOMSON REUTERS] OR SCOPUS Indexed journals for review and possible indexing with additional charges (the conference fee is compulsory to be paid). Kindly email if interested. In addition the proceedings will be indexed at all major search engines.

English is the official language of the conference. We welcome paper submissions. Prospective authors are invited to submit full (and original research) papers (which is NOT submitted or published or under consideration anywhere in other conferences/journal) in electronic (DOC or PDF) format alongwith the contact information.

There are NO specific instructions for poster preparation. Just prepare and print the poster in Portrait style of size A1 or below and make sure to put more Pictures/Diagrams/Graphs to depict the results so that poster should look vivid and gets everybody’s attention.

Just prepare the one-page electronic format just as that of the conference template attached and print that on the any size in A1.

Literacy and Technology in Language Pedagogy and Use

The Tenth International Conference on Applied Linguistics (CONAPLIN 10) and the Second English Language Teaching and Technology (ELT-Tech 2) Conference is a conference organized by the Language Center of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) in cooperation with English Education Department, Faculty of Language and Literature UPI and Asosiasi Linguistik Terapan Indonesia (ALTI). The conference covers a wide range of topics related to applied linguistics, including language in education, language assessment and development, and the application of technology in language teaching and learning. 

As the theme of this year's conference is "Literacy and Technology in Language Pedagogy and Use", the conference is hoped to serve as a vehicle for language researchers, teachers, practitioners, policy makers, or even enthusiasts to share their data and insights on the issue at hand and draw insightful conclusions for future practice and follow-up studies. 

POSSIBLE TOPICS FOR PAPER PRESENTATION
All full papers should be written in English and will be peer-reviewed by at least two reviewers and evaluated based on its relevance to the conference, originality, technical and content quality, contributions to the issues.
